December 13-19, 2021
Tuesday the building we're in threw a Christmas luncheon and served fajitas. I felt like I was the only one that actually ate the fajitas. The people I work with are a little too picky about food. They will go the whole day without eating! After work, I delivered thank you gifts to my ministering sisters for the ward shower last weekend. I also delivered some Christmas cookies to our friends in the ward. I made some salmon, salad, and mashed potatoes for dinner. After Paul got home, we finished the Grinch and watched some other short Christmas movies to end the night.
Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment and ultrasound. Mary is looking really good! She is weighing in at 6 lbs and 13 oz. She is head down and all her organs look great. I got to take home a cute picture of her face showing off her already chubby cheeks!
My doctor is kind of socially awkward and I thought I could look past that but I feel like it is impacting the care I am receiving. She awkwardly laughs all the time, so I feel like she is laughing at me. She also speeds through information, so it is too fast for me to understand what she is saying. I have other qualms but I was finished with her after this last appointment, so I put in a request for a new doctor. It was approved the next day, so I am happy about that.
Happy Birthday to Dad on Thursday!
Welcome home to James on Friday and Happy Birthday on Saturday!
Saturday we saw the new Spiderman movie and Sunday Paul put together Mary's bassinet.
