April 4-10

Monday Paul heard from Tesla and they wanted to have one more interview before extending the formal offer.  That offer came on Wednesday! He starts working on May 30th.  It was a blessed day because we also got our hot water back!  We also gave our apartment our 60-day notice.  Paul also emailed his PI to let her know.  She was super nice about it and very supportive.

Thursday Paul let the graduate school know.  They were very nice about it and set up a meeting to go through the process with him on Monday.

Saturday we drove down to Austin to look at apartments.  Mary was very good.  She only got really mad when she was hot.  Once we got her cooled down, she would fall asleep.  She was so great.  After we were done looking at apartments, I fed her for like two minutes, and then she just fell right to sleep.  We were all very tired at that point.

Sunday we tried to catch up on sleep then we had Rishi, Paul's lab friend, over for dinner.  He was so excited to meet Mary and he brought her a big stuffed bunny.  He brought cookies for Paul and me, he was very nice.  

Also, Mary is 3 months old now!  She is starting to roll! She can push herself onto her side.  She can see better and better every day.  She would only be interested in black and white pictures before and now she is getting more interested in colorful images and toys.  She is growing so much and is now wearing 3-6 month clothes.
