August 1-7
Monday was a work day trying to organize everything. Later that night we went to Cross E. Ranch and picked sunflowers. They had some games there as well so we hung out there for the evening and threw hula hoops at wire cows and played corn hull. Mary also had her bottom front tooth poke through today!
Tuesday we took Emily and Andy up to Logan for the day. We went on a walking tour of USU and drove around Logan. That night we had a fire in the backyard and made s'mores, played music, and reminisced.
Wednesday was our last day in Utah. We took Emmy with us and had lunch with Granny K and played 9 innings. That evening we visited the scene of the crime and spoke with some of the witnesses. We got the pictures back that were taken on Saturday today. Mary, of course, looks so cute in the pictures.
Thursday we had breakfast with Hannah's grandparents before flying back to Austin. My ministering sister, Malea, drove us home.
Friday was our anniversary. Matt and Hannah watched Mary while we went to dinner. After I put Mary to bed (in her own room!) we watched So I Married an Axe Murderer for our anniversary tradition.
Happy Anniversary to Sam and Terry on Saturday.
Sunday I went to a ministering dinner at Malea's house. It was her and my other ministering sister and the two other sisters they minister to. It was fun to get to know more people in the ward. Paul stayed home with Mary because she had just gone down for a nap. When I got home, Mary was awake and we facetimed Wendy.
