7 months

This week was busy.  Wednesday Mary turned 7 months!  Thursday morning we flew to Utah and got picked up by the Roberts.  It was Wendy, Emily, Andy, and Rachel.  We drove to Logan and had lunch with Adam and his wife, Sonora.  After lunch, Adam and Sonora went to work and we went on a walk around First Dam.  Then we went bowling.  The lane kept having issues with resetting the pins so we got a couple of extra turns since we had to reset it so much.  Emily beat everyone and I lost but it was a lot of fun.  We got some Spudnuts before dropping me off at Amelia's wedding dinner.  The wedding dinner was awesome.  We had Mexican rice bowls/ salads and brownies for dessert.  There were toasts from Eliza, Jacob, Dad, and Gabe's friends as well.  After that, we drove home and I put Mary straight to bed.  She had a long day and was totally exhausted.

Friday was the wedding!  My dad made pancakes for everyone that wanted some.  We spent the morning getting ready.  Amelia and Gabe got married in the Bountiful temple.  I forgot my recommend and for some reason, Whitney and Nathanael's were having issues, so we waited together while they checked us in.  It was a nice sealing.  Afterward, we took pictures.  We tried to do one with Amelia and Gabe and all the Christensen grandkids but it was hot and nap time, so all the babies were crying.  When we wrapped up the pictures, I took Mary home for a nap.  She slept a little in the car and didn't go to sleep right away, so she only got to sleep for an hour, instead of 2-3 as I was hoping.  Then we went to Chad's house for the ring ceremony and reception.  Aunt Nan watched Mary for I think about 2 hours.  Mary was happy to be cooled off and to have gotten some rest. It was a nice evening and only sprinkled.  We were spared from the rain.  We got Amelia and Gabe sent off and cleaned up a little before we were able to leave and get Mary to bed.  It has been a lot of late nights for this little girl.
Saturday we slept in a little bit.  We had a waffle breakfast and they were delicious and they made the whole house smell good.  Right as everyone was gearing up to go to Chad's for pickleball and clean up, Mary went down for a nap.  We joined them a couple of hours later for lunch and I played a couple of rounds of pickleball before we went back home.  Mary got another nap in while some people went to help Jacob and Brianna finish packing for their move to Georgia on Monday.  Andrew, Sierra, and James went and got Raising Caines for everyone for dinner.  It was super yummy.  Then we did a game night, had a spiritual thought, then went to bed.
Sunday, I got all packed up and we said goodbye as everyone left for church.  Wendy came and picked me up around 10:30 am.  We were going to Hogle Zoo for the morning and invited Jacob and Brianna to come.  They joined us for about an hour before heading over to Brianna's family for a birthday party.  We saw a dog show with them and also rode the carousel.  Jacob recommended the churros and they were super yummy.  Mary got a little nap while we were looking at the Asian tigers.  Once she woke up, we did a train ride and then decided we'd had enough fun at the zoo.  We went to lunch at Citrus Grill before heading home to bountiful.  I made the chocolate bundt cake for Andy's birthday, which is next week.  I had to leave before it was ready but it sounded like it turned out great :)  Wendy dropped me off at the airport and Mary and I had a great flight home.  Mary slept for half of it and was happy for the other half.  Paul got us in Austin.  We were ready to be home after a fun few days.
