Holding hands at the park

Tuesday there was a huge storm with wind, rain, and hail.  There was a warning that there would be damage to cars but we didn't have anything happen to ours.  I listened to the storm all night because Mary had an upset tummy and would wake up every hour.

Saturday we drove down to San Antonio and met up with Matt, Hannah, and Addie to spend the day down there.  We got there later than we planned and just met them for lunch at the oldest restaurant in San Antonio, a German restaurant that we really liked.  Then we walked over to the Alamo and Hannah got us a reservation to take a tour.  The Alamo is actually the church that was on the property of the fort.  We read about the history and got some fun souvenirs. We then went to the river walk and we did a boat tour and got dinner along the river.  It was super fun.  When we had thoroughly explored the river, we still had the energy to enjoy the day, so we drove uptown and hung out at a park before driving home.  Mary slept in the car and we listened to mystery stories.  It was a really fun day.

Sunday we went to our new ward.  We meet in a rented-out space right now but they are working on getting a building.  I don't think it will be too long before we get one.  There are so many houses and apartments being built in this area.  They were very welcoming and friendly.
We watched Addie for the afternoon while Matt and Hannah looked at houses with their realtor.  Addie slept most of the time then we watched bluey together and read books.
